Mrs. Skuban

Hi! My name is Kaitlin Skuban and I am the Kindergarten teacher here at Southview Community School! This is my third year teaching Kindergarten at Southview, and I feel very lucky to be a part of the Southview community. 

I believe in building a positive and safe learning environment for all learners, and in perseverance! Our kindergarten room is always buzzing with new and exciting learning opportunities, and my kiddos all know our number one rule is to always try our best! Making mistakes and getting messy is an important part of learning, and this helps our brain to grow in new ways! I want my students to build confidence in their skills and abilities, and develop a genuine love for learning!
In my spare time, I love to play golf and BBQ with family and friends, read, travel, garden, and spend time in our yard with my husband Chris, and our big dog Leroy!  
I look forward to meeting my future students, and seeing my past and present kiddos each and every day!
